On Saturday we had a rough plan to try and bike to Cambridge. Jen found a good route online that was to take us up the Lee Valley river out of the city and then a network of rural roads up to Cambridge.
It was a very nice day out, but we didn't manage to get on our way until about 11:30 - mostly because we were still feeling the effects of going to the dog races and the subsequent bus rides home the night before.
In any case, the ride up the river was very pleasant. We made it to Hereford after about two and a half hours and decided to take the train back from there. Next time we'll get up a bit earlier and go for it.
